Synopsis[]

Anxious to prove to her family and friends that she is no longer a little girl, Ruthie tells her boyfriend, T-Bone, that she is ready to take their relationship to the next level. Martin expresses an interest in dating Jane, which makes Sandy question her feelings for him. Eric and Lucy tell everyone they have official church business out of town when in reality they are spending the day fishing.

  • This was the second episode written by Carolyn Kepnes, an avid fan of the show whom series creator Brenda Hampton also selected to write the season premiere.
  • When this episode first aired, three segments of "CW Connect" aired during the commercials offering an inside look at Beverley Mitchell's new music career. Her self-titled debut album was featured in the episode Broken Hearts and Promises and was released 2 days after this episode aired.
