"Now You See Me" is the eleventh episode of the 1st season of 7th Heaven.

Synopsis[]

The family is concerned when Matt's new girlfriend, Tia wants to spend more time with the family instead of being alone with Matt. Lucy wants to try out for the cheerleading squad. Simon tries to prove to his family that he can be invisible. Annie yearns for romance in her marriage after becoming bored with her usual daily activities.

Trivia[]

  • In real life, Catherine Hicks and Beverley Mitchell were both major cheerleaders at their high schools: Gerald High and Chaminade High respectively.
  • Beverley revealed in an interview that all the other cheerleaders in this episode came from her team at her school.
  • The music play on Lucy's cheerleading training is the theme of Rocky.
  • The title is a reference to the phrase "Now you see em', now you don't", a phrase whom Simon tries to prove the truthfulness.
  • There is a official 7th Heaven novelization based on this episode, called "7th Heaven: Nobody's Perfect"

Goofs & Errors[]

  • Annie finds Tia asleep in the car but the next morning when Annie is talking to Matt, she says that Eric found her in the car.
  • When Matt and Lucy are in the gym right after he finishes with the "be self-confident" speech, Lucy trips over her shoelaces on hardwood floor. In the next shot, she fell down on the gym mats.
  • Lucy and Matt wouldn't be able to go to the gym without an instructor because of liability reasons.
